Dry Season

Use Dry Season when you're attacking. The +20% damage applies to your entire army — it's the difference between winning and losing a close battle. I always time my PvP raids to Dry Season.
Rainy Season

Rainy Season is your shield. When a rival emperor attacks, switch to Rainy and your defense jumps 25%. The crop yield bonus also saves you from starvation during long sieges. Keep this ready for defensive emergencies.
Planting Season

Planting Season is the economy turbo. No combat bonus, but +50% to ALL resources — lumber, stone, food, gold. Use this when you're not at war and need to build up for a major push. I run Planting for 3 days before any big offensive.
Harvest Season

Balanced play, long-term sustainability
Jay's Strategy
Harvest is the all-rounder. Small bonuses to everything, no weaknesses. It's the season to default to when you're not sure what to do. The gold income bonus compounds over time — leave Harvest running during idle periods.
The 3-Day War Cycle
Here's the combo that wins wars. Run Planting Season for 2 days to stockpile resources. Switch to Dry Season on day 3 and launch your attack with +20% damage and a full stockpile. If they counter-attack, flip to Rainy Season for +25% defense.
This cycle costs ~1,200 favor total. A level 10 temple generates 400 favor per day, so you can run this cycle every 3 days once your temple is built. This is how you out-tempo opponents who don't manage seasons.
